Hmm, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's. I liked their track "bang". Wonder what happened to them...
Anyhoo, I'm in a better mood than yesterday. Much more like my smileyself. It's amazing what a bit of sleep can do! Yesterday all the various stressess that I juggle piled up at once and my outlook was suddenly very bleak. When everything hits me like that, when I let everything weigh on my mind, I can't see a way out, I can't find solutions and I crumble. Much better to deal with things one by one. So, about 10 minutes after I posted on LJ I got all teary, so I called Alex to take me home. Had a big, big teary in the car, talked a lot, got sushi for lunch then came home and slept for 3 hrs in the afternoon. I'm doing a lot better now.
Meanwhile, it's stilll mind-meltingly hot. What else to do but sit around naked drinking chardonnay...

1. I must sleep with two pillows. Two very thin and flat pillows. One thick pillow will nto do it and won't sleep properly. Consequently, I often travel with my pillows.
2. I am anal about my coffee. When I go to an new coffee place I will watch the barista closely to make sure they're up to standard.
3. First thing I do when I get home is take off my shoes (well, after peeing).
4. I pee before I shower. Every time.
5. I play with my chin hairs when they get long.
