A sigh is so much more than breathing

Through lips parted, breath released, spindrift
In echo of souls silent, longing spake in
Whispers pale with desire, lightened pleasure,
Weighty sorrows slumping, breathing:
Contentment caught, trace gentle smiling;
Vexation purged in clenched abrasion;
Exhale, with body more than humid breath
And gaze-encaptured meaning lingers.
