Continuing sultry. A few showers and a thunderstorm about this afternoon.

We bought an air conditioner yesterday. A little window unit for the bedroom. I've resisted getting air-con for 8 Brisbane summers, because it's only for a few weeks that it gets too hot to sleep. But that's a month without sleeping properly, which leads to sickness, frayed nerves and a lot to catch up on once it cools. So now I've overcome my environmental guilt this summer. It'll be nice to have a bedroom under 34oC.
