The tail end of this storm is just passing by. Not a great deal of rain, but a spectacular display. I really am blessed to be able to step outside my front door and see such a view :-)

Alex worked all weekend and is not yet home. It's a little strnage to have a weekend alone, but not altogether bad. Having some time by myself was good to get on top of things, as well as enjoy alittle non-relationship socialising. Went to the doctors yesterday to request blood tests to check for any physical reasons for my current high level of fatigue. Neither of us is partucularly certain we'll find one, but still it will be good to rule it out and focus on psychological causes.

A day spent catching up on domestic chores - uneventful but necessary as the place was starting to develop a suspicious odour and an encompassing patina of dust. Once apon a time no place of mine would ever have reached such a state, but times, and I, have changed. Stormy skies and a clouded mind of late, but change is in the wind. Next month brings much needed holidays - a reprieve from the frustrations of my job. For now, the house is moslty clean and I'm off to join my neighbour in a glass of Shiraz before cooking up some salt and pepper fish for tea.
