Sun-daze

A languid Sunday spent in perfect Autumn weather, unproductively lazing. Waiting for washing to spin itself into the fabric of April with it's unhurried skies. I have been photographing cups because I love their colours and I fancied a challenge - a change from my documentary-styling. It's easy to take beautiful photos when the subject is inherently beautiful. Nature will remain my favoured model, with the ease she fills up my senses and whispers to my dreams.

Yesterday seems an aeon away, though I blinked and she was gone. A sound day, from start to finish, wreathed in inurgency. Second breakfasts and coffee with AnnaPete at Togninis stretching into the afternoon and meanderings through Paddington. Peopleswatched and nattered and went explora-cruising through the boutiques, sniding at the preciousness of themselves and their customerage.

Pretentiousness is coloured pink and scented with roses this season; designer cottage homeliness. And home we scurried to decontaminate the yuppy sheen that clings from such places. Dog-walking remedies for lightness of spirit. A waggle-lick-a-frolic along the way as the light slowly bled from the sky, hesitating along the river.

Simple food ever the pleasure after a day in the young-and-vapid neighbourhood. Curried lentil and vegetable soup seems to only improve with age. Then off again a-visiting and a-returning borrowed treasures. H&P - a guarantee of good company and amusement. Seal the deal with a Park Road mission for gelati (almond and tiramisu!!!) and table soccer filled with laughter. Ahhh, pleasant times!
