Mixed Dozen
Jul. 4th, 2005 08:15 pmMondays are what you make of them...

First day back at work wasn't too shabby. Still finishing off bits and peices from old projects, but it's keeping me busy ad reasonably stimulated for a change =) Got an unexpected phone call today... when blitzing the job applications, I put one in for a position with Melbourme Water. Now those whe were reading me last Spring will remember I came back from the conference in Tassie desperate to jet a job with Melbourne Water. Well, tomorrow I have a preliminary phone interview for the job! The competition will be stiff, but the fact I even warrant calling has me pleased as punch. Many thanks go out to
new_brunette for helping me brush up my resume! *supersmileysnuggles*
Right now I'm sipping on a none too shabby '03 Cabernet Shiraz Merlot care of Australian Wine Selectors. This particular wine club has been calling me for a year about joining. Their deals have always sounded excellent, but I always put off joining because I couldn't justify the expense or was uncertain about the future. Anyway, they caught me on Tuesday in a very mellow mood and I said yes. I am now the rather chuffed owner of a mixed dozen of Aussie reds, including some rather tasty by reputation labels. The red is being ably assisted by some top class Maragret River Dairy camembert on poppyseed crackers. Mmmm... and all this after a nice dinner of tomato, pumpkin and mushroom pasta bake with red wine, basil & peccorino. Life truly is what you make of it =)
