Woohoo, free food!

Just had a lunch-time chat with some science students from the local high school, organised through work to let the young'uns chat with we sciency types. Mm, free sadwiches and pink cookies!

An oldie

Too much time cooped up inside at work at the moment. The weather is stunning and I'm longing to be outdoors, or at least pottering around the house. The days are perfect for gardening, bike rides and adventuring. The light is softening, making everythign more photogenic, but alas I have too little time to get out there. I catch the last strains of dusk as I'm leaving work: soon it will be completely dark. Evidently I need to get up earlier, but that's an unlikely proposition.

Instead, here's a photo I took last year but never posted. The barrelling on my camera makes it look at bit fish-eyed, which makes me dizzy.


Rainbow lorikeet - Brisbane

A three day weekend approaches. We're going to a gig on Saturday night, but that aside I think the weekend will bring outdoor adventures with my camera. Hooray!
