"on the furthest hill i saw a distance... evening set in and then I knew, time envelopes all"
Railway pylon, Milton.

This pylon used to read "Welcome to the real world, where moths flutter hope and children run free", but the council painted over it. I was very glad to see our urban philosopher had returned.

Walked down to Milton this morning to work on answering selection criteria, aided by a fine brew from Tognini's deli-cafe. The change of atmosphere did me good, and I beavered away for an hour. But then I stopped. I'm not so sure I want the job I was writing for, it doesn't really prick my interest - that burning desire was absent, I couldn't picture myself doing the job and loving it. Thinking... it looks now like my current job will be re-created, at least in the short term. Efforts should be directed to applications for jobs I really want - ones that I'd be happy to leave my current position for, ones that I believe in. The universe is unfolding as it should, I am certain of it.
