shapeofthingsNormally I'd be getting to work about now, but today I'm in my PJs and about to have coffee and speculaas (Dutch spiced cookies) while I catch up on LJ =) Riding to work today, so no need to rush to meet my lift and I get a lovely morning to myself, watching the sun rise gently over the city.
It's my second attempt at coffee. Fist time I put in coffee for one and water for two in the dripolator. This is what happens when you do things early in the mornings. Tea is much simpler!
Been a bit down the last two days, but perked up last night with a couple of episodes of the Hitchiker's Guide. Finally got a good night's sleep too, which will make all the difference today. And I got a massage to work out the twinges in my back! I wouldn't trade that boy for anything!
My bathroom smells of jasmine. I picked some from my neighbour's fence yesterday on my way home. It's early this year, but then most of the city thinks it's Spring already. The wattle was out weeks ago, and the melaleukas. It's warm enough to contemplate swimming and I might take myself off to the pool this weekend to stretch out my back and work out the winter wrinkles.
