Suddenly overwhelmed...
Jul. 12th, 2004 02:01 pmI just recieved notification that I have been accepted to present a paper at a national conference in Launceston in October!
SO of course there is much excitement and jubilation, as well as a few nerves from a lack of slef-confidence (I've never presented at a conference before). But add to that an overwhelming sense of absolute panic as they inform me they need a copy of the paper by the end of the month! Not only have I not started writing it yet, but the person I need to talk to most about it isn't working in our unit anymore and is frustratingly difficult to contact, let alone track down for long enough to pick his brain. Eeeep! Looks like I'm going to be quite the busy fishie!
