Update on the Project of Doom
Aug. 19th, 2004 12:00 pmI just got back from a meeting in the City with my policy counterparts. They finally went over my supervisor's framework and guess what? They said it was unneccessarily complex and bogged down in side issues, terminology and assorted bollocks. Hooray! So they've re-done a much more simple and logical framework which fits in with the way I'd been thinking prior to the original framework and sets out nicely what I need to do. The only problem is I now have a week and a day left to do it in. Still, 'twas awfully nice to trash the old framework!
In more good work news the good sandwich toaster has been fixed, thus my lunch is only 10 minutes away from crispy, melted-cheesy perfection :-D
Started at seven this morning, so I'll escape around four-ish, giving me plenty of time to relax prior to my (anticipated) dinner engagement with
ifr. And I'm awfully glad I'd been procrastinating so much over the Project in Doom. Instead of wasting my time on pointless work I got to waste it cruising LiveJournal and playing in PhotoShop. Yay!
Oh, and yesterday, it even rained!!!!
