Eye on the news
Aug. 17th, 2004 12:12 pmAn election is looming and politics is getting rather interesting. As much as I could never bring myself to vote for Howard (liar, liar, pants on fire), however the Labour party's stands on the FTA and gay marriage aren't exactly winning my support either. The Democrats have become a laughing stock, so I'm taking a closer look at the Greens policy. I can't help but contemplate the pointlessness of this, however, as one of the 2 major parties will win. A few interesting side-issues are being raised on the media that I am curious to see policy developments in.

Otherwise, a better day at work so far, with an apology from yesterday's main offender and a start madew on the Project of Doom. Old Man Depression is being kept at bay with determination and a large, pointy stick and my case of the sniffles seems to be easing. Last night we booked out tickets to GodsKitchen in Melbourne, so I guess we're definately going.
Much to look forward to: Melbourne holiday, Launceston conference, digi-cam purchasing and the possibility of rain. The clouds are amazing right now - I just hope they stick around.
