Goddamnit!

Bah, the work 'net nazis have now banned my lovely imageshack. No more pictures from work for me, and I had a nice photo post all lined up ready to go. Now all pictures must be dealt with from home over the 33k dial up. Waiting for my bank balance to recover from recent blitzing before shelling out the small forture for ADSL (net access is disgustingly expensive in this country). No fair!

In other news, I'm working 11 hr days this week to get work done in time for a workshop next week. In an ideal world the work wouldn't be the responsibility of our unit anyway, but because the public service is a world of shit everything must be done the hard way and I'm the fool who said they'd work back to get it done. At least it's a change from surfing the net all day - perhaps my long-lost work ethic has risen from the deep?

Also been thinking about why I don't get blasted for being a slack-arse and have realised that my uber-slack work rate is only slightly lower than most staff's normal work rate, and when I actually work decently (note: I never work at full speed - need internet breaks regularly) I flog their arses. Not because they are as lazy as I am, because that's not so, simply because I'm capapble of processing information at a faster rate. Weird!
