Has anyone seen my halo?

I've been a very good girl today. Went to the doctors and the chemists, and bought myself a bunch of flowers while I was out. Came home and had brekkie and started on the housework. I put away 3 loads of washing, tidied up a bit, did the mending, got the washing in and gave the Callie* dog some loving, all before lunch. After lunch I tidied up the kitchen a little then finally stopped (productively) procrastinating and caught up on some work work, aided by tea and spice cookies. Alex came home and took over the housework duties, powering though the dishes and the vacuuming on caffeine. I finished my work and now I'm pretty much done for the night! Tired and still coughing a little, but I'm feeling a hell of a lot better now (but why must Prednisone taste so incredibly foul?). Off to work in the morning for the first time this week, so it's probably going to be a long, busy day. Lets hope I've finally seen the back of this bug!

* Callie is being dog-sat by our neighbours while her people are over-seas. Except next door already have 2 big dogs and don't have enough time for them, so Callie tends to spend her time hanging around the block of flats and convincing people to play ball with her. She's taken quite a shine to Alex and I as we've taken her for walks and thrown the ball lots, and if I had the time and a place with a yard I'd dog-nap the clever pup. =)
