Another good day

I did catch the train and walk to work today. I'll do it again tomorrow. Absolutely lovely, and just enough exercise to feel without exhausting myself completely. Yay. More on the "my new job is so good" forum: I've been invited to attend a session of my choosing at the Landcare conference here next week. I've only been here for 2 days and I'm invited to attend a conference! I had to fight to get to go to anything in my old job.

If we're organised enough, tomorrow I'm meeting geheimzinnig for coffee after work. Alex is on a training course in Spring Hill, so he'll likely join us. Hooray for forging new friendships!On Saturday I'm getting my lovely hair chopped. It's so long now - below my shoulder blades - and starting to really annoy me as it's too loing to do anything with. So I've decided to get it cut to almost a bob so I won't need to worry about cutting it again for 6 months. Prepare for short haired Toni!

In other news, the next Mayhem party has been announced: Godspeed, September 30, RNA Show Grounds. Bring. It. On. I missed Godspeed last year due to being ill, so I'd better not miss this one. Sarah, and anyone else, interested?
