...we went to visit a sheep dairy not too far from here. We tasted some lovely sheep and goat cheeses and enjoyed the pretty scenery and the silly-looking sheep.
Tonight it's cold and crisp: summer has most definitely passed. We'll tuck ourselves in to our cosy home, turn on the electric heating and dream of wood fires as we enjoy our cheese purchases and some lovely pinot noir. Tomorrow morning there'll likely to be fog.
Mellow days, crisp evenings, leaf-turn and wood smoke: I love this time of year.
