See yourself in my reflection, you
Reflecting back in me, distorted, who?
Deflected blame for chaos rippling through
Connections, denial of that which is true.
Rushing onwards, never stop, might
Actions trickle onwards? Loosing sight
Of purpose, spiral-caught in hurried flight
The birthing journey swallowed in, despite.
Attempt to hide, lost reflected own,
Untruthfully convinced you stand alone,
Still churning, tumbling on, seeds sown
Doubts weigh anchor, choker’d dreamer grown.
You cannot run from that within, turn
Inwards, fray a’facing, painful: learn,
That which you seek, for all you yearn
Reflected though your eyes, return.
The anxious wait for calm to rise,
Restless, out-turned, must realise:
Mirrored souls can reach the skies
And ripple through these wat’ry eyes.
Reflecting back in me, distorted, who?
Deflected blame for chaos rippling through
